What Gather is
Gather is a browser app for watching YouTube videos together in private rooms — one video, synced for everyone, with chat and reactions. There are no accounts; you pick a display name. Videos play through YouTube's official embed player and are hosted by YouTube.
Using Gather
Rooms are for personal watch parties. Don't use Gather to harass anyone or to run anything automated against the service. Rooms are created by whoever opens them, and that person can close a room at any time — deleting the room, its chat and its queue for everyone, permanently. The app is provided "as is", without warranties.
